ISSUE 10: Hungry Summer Fugue

Cover art by Cynthia Yatchman

In our five years of running The Fantastic Other, our summers have stretched long. Each one brings new storms, new turmoil, and new changes. So much sunshine can blind us. Even through this haze of light and heat, there are new futures we can imagine. The seasonal cycles, though broken, start anew.

The tenth issue of our magazine is eclectic. It hungers for strife and devours dreams. Through the stories and poems in this issue, you’ll find the struggles of days past mingle with the challenges of our world’s present day. Still, more fantastic things are dreamed of on the horizon. Within our hectic reality, we encourage you to take a moment with these pieces and enjoy the respite that good writing can bring.
